Brenda and Austin's medical fund

My niece Brenda Getz has lived in our community all her life.  She was a dedicated and compassionate nurse at our local hospital until chronic and debilitating back problems forced her to retire at a early age.  She also has macular degeneration in both eyes which requires regular treatments which are very, very expensive and not covered by her disability insurance.  Brenda lost her husband Ed tragically this month.  She and Ed were helping to fund their son Austin's college schooling at WSU.  Austin is in his last year at WSU and highly motivated in his studies and dedicated to his mother.  Ed's work was providing the  medical insurance for Brenda and Austin.  They are now struggling to make ends meet.  If we could just get them through the next 6 months until Austin graduates that would be fantastic.  Any help you can give would be appreciated beyond measure.
