Here I am almost one year later. Wow time flies. And how much progress we've made. If you're coming from my newsletter, you read about what all the work I did in 2019.
Your donation will give me the ability to keep paying my student loans, buy food to eat, pay for living accommodations, keep my car up and running, and have the runway to hit my milestones for 2020. I'm also being honored as a social entrepreneur of the year at conferences in San Francisco and Boston. Your donation will help me buy plane tickets! (About $400 and $100 respectively.)

Hey family and friends!
I’m starting an equitable development company called Parity, with the mission of creating affordable homeownership opportunities and closing the ownership disparity. The vision is to reinvest in distressed and deteriorating neighborhoods, renovate and preserve historic housing stock, and empower folks to own the homes affordably or fractionally over time.
I created a GoFundMe page to receive donations from friends and family, in order to cover some of the costs of branching out on my own. Here are some of the ways your donation will be put to use:
- Incorporation fees to register the LLC and general liability insurance
- Creating a small marketing and registration campaign targeting millennials and first time homebuyers, highlighting the incredible ownership opportunities that Baltimore presents
- Building the backend lease-to-own technology infrastructure that will allow homebuyers to build equity in their home fractionally, over time
- Bree's peanut butter and jelly sandwich food budget for the next year :)
Whether it's $20 or $2,000, your donation will allow me to do the unconventional. It will allow me to carry out my passion to economically empower folks who have been historically marginalized. Thank you for your love and support as always.
