Breedon Parish Church security improvements
Donation protected
On 8th August 2019 the beautiful Breedon Parish Church was broken into and both entrances badly damaged. Our insurers will cover most of the costs of getting these doorways repaired by conservation experts.
Many people have asked to donate towards the cost of installing better security systems at the church. This page is designed to enable such generosity.
We are seeking the advice of the local Crime Prevention Officer and will follow their recommendations as to what security systems to install, subject to the approval of the diocese.
We will use any money donated to offset any costs we incur on the repairs, to install enhanced security and to maintain it. Any remaining money will be used to restore and develop the building for the benefit of the local community.
Your generosity will make a huge difference to our worshipping community, to local people who mark key life events with us, to those who visit us from around the world and to those who simply like to sit in the peace of this beautiful place.
