You may have heard of the recent deadly landslide disaster on February 23, 2018, which struck the Pasir Panjang village, where I grew up in Central Java, Indonesia. Based on the latest reports, there were 18 deaths and several injured people. The effects of the landslide have resulted in many residents becoming homeless and not being able to earn their livelihood due to the widely impacted areas. To date, many residents of the village remain missing and have not been found at this time. Also, there is still no access to the area except the government aid helicopter.
One of the impacted victims that I know is my old neighbor, Mrs. Kari. Not only did she lose her house because of the landslide but she lost her rice field where she makes a living. I am trying to organize a fundraiser to benefit her, which hopefully can help ease her burden. That saying, no donation is too small. Please donate through the link below and I thank you for your help. I will send the money as soon as possible.
