<div> <strong>I have been out of work for two and a half years due to respiratory failure episodes.</strong> I have been in and out of the ICU on six separate occasions. I've been confined to my apartment since 2022, attached to an oxygen machine. I lost my teaching and coaching jobs due to this condition, and it has taken a toll on my psyche and physical body. Without a regular paycheck each month, I've been stretching out my disability pay to barely scrape by for the last three years.

<div> <strong>Now I have the non-VA hospitals threatening to send me to collections if I don’t pay the bill from the four separate institutions.</strong> It is becoming overwhelming as I have gone through every avenue to plead my case to the institutions.
