Breathe Easy Kai

My sweet Grandson was born in China on November 17, 2020 weighing 9lbs 3ozs. At 2 weeks old he was rushed to  the Hospital where he was diagnosed with pneumonia and while in the hospital he ended up with an e-coli infection. He was released December 13, 2020, with that Hospital stay costing $2000 BUT on December 14th he had to be rushed back to the Hospital. This time my son Derek & his wife Molly took him to a Private Hospital, now the doctors there think he not only has pneumonia and an e-coli infection but also meningitis which is caused by e-coli. The hospital bill will be much larger. Thankfully my daughter-in-law can stay with him this time, which will be an added cost. During Kai's last hospital stay Derek and Molly could not even visit their newborn son. 
As new parents this is a very difficult time for Derek and Molly, just like any parent they want what's best for their child. 
As a Mom & now a Grandma it breaks my heart that I am not able to be there to support them through this difficult time. 
I know these are very difficult times with Covid but I am hoping that our family and friends can help pull Derek and Molly through this difficult time so that they can bring their son home.
