On October 17th at approximately 8:55 am Breathe Body & Spa in Mcinnville Oregon caught fire. In a matter of ten minutes, our whole livelihood and everything we've worked for over the past two years went up in flames.
In September 2015 we opened an 800 square foot one massage room spa. Over the next two years, we had grown to approximately 2000 square feet giving us three massage rooms, a foot treatment room, a salon, and a small yoga studio. With this growth, we had gone from one massage therapist to four massage therapists, a yoga instructor, and a cosmetologist. Each one of us put our touch on this place and have created lifelong friendships with their clients.
At Breathe the core of everything that we do has always been family. My ex-husband and I have worked side by side and co-parented our two daughters along the way. We built my sister her own personal hair salon just six weeks ago. This place has become more and more family with our kids involved in the spa at events, as well as the occasional yoga class with Christine. Katie & Jaimie were hand-picked to work alongside this family. Our bond is unbreakable and we don't want to split up.
In the community, we've hosted a canned food dance night, and large clothing drive. As well as participated every Christmas in Aden's Toy Drive, YCAP, and See Ya Later Foundation. We donate chair massage at local 5k events such as Run the Dutch and Champions Run for Heroes.
We grew this through the love and support of our community. Healing others is our passion, we know we can help others under any roof we just need help getting started all over again. This will be our new adventure.

Any donations to this fire recovery fund for Breathe Body & Spa will directly go towards leasing a new space and getting the supplies we need to get back to healing again. I know this won't be as glamorous but we're still here and our connections are still strong. Escape from reality if only for a minute with us.
