Breast Cancer Fund For LauraRickard

I was just being a good little girl and went in for my annual Mammogram when they found Cancer.  It was a stage 2 invasive. It was so unreal to me. I felt nothing before I went in.  The Doctors said to go for a partial mastecomy and biopsy the sentenal lymph glands.   (This is when they go in and take out the area where there is the cancer and take out the lymph glade that are first to the area)
I will need radiation treatment for 4 or more weeks  . , hormone treatment, and possibly chemo if the biopsy is not good. As my cancer is hormone related I will need to take medication to remove all my estrogen .
The weeks before my surgery were surreal . I didn't have disability insurance for illness, only accident related.  I couldn't afford it. 
I had the surgery and they took out 5 lymph glands. Now we wait for the results. 
On top of all the worries  I need help paying my health insurance premiums. With no wages coming in and the looming cost of my care I can't let this insurance lapse.  I plan on returning to work as soon as possible. I do not want to become a burden to society.
 My husband and I have worked hard all of our lives to kept us above water. Mike drives an hour every day to his work and an hour home but they do not offer affordable insurance. I am hoping to be out of work only 2-3 weeks .  My job is very physical as I am a working chef and dietary manager so I need an ok from the surgeon for heavy lifting. 
I am 57 and Mike is 61. We have no retirement funds to tap into. When Mike lost his good paying job 5 years ago we needed to liquidate it then. I know we will have bills coming in, but if we can keep the health insurance we can rise above them.  We have had tough times before and we can rise above this. But today we need a little help from our friends. If I can't pay my premiums I'll Lose the insurance and spiral into a deep abyss.
