Breast Cancer donations for Aunty Freddi
In 2013 my mother’s sister, aunty Freddi Ann Hitchcock found a lump in her right breast. After getting an ultrasound and a biopsy it was revealed that the lump turned out to be cancer.
She went through months of chemotherapy followed by radiation treatments right after. During this time she endured a host of various side effects that made her very sick.
By the grace of God Aunty Freddi went into a 6 year remission and resumed her life with her family, getting back to work and enjoying life.
Then in November 2019 after an annual mammogram checkup, X-ray revealed 2 spots on her left breast. Unfortunately it was confirmed that the cancer had returned.
Aunty Freddi is now enduring a much more aggressive dose of chemotherapy, ultimately the final outcome will be getting a double mastectomy. To relieve much of the financial burden, I have set up a go fund me account to help aunty with any financial obligations that need to be met while she is out of work.
All proceeds will go directly to her. Your Kōkua is gratefully appreciated on behalf of our Ohana. Mahalo
