Help Jordan Start Her College Journey in Psychology & Missions

Hi, my name is Jordan Rain, and I graduated high school early at just 17 years old with a 4.0 GPA. I’ve worked incredibly hard to get here, and I’m beyond excited to begin my college journey at Grand Canyon University, a Christian college in Arizona, where I will be studying Psychology.

My dream is to specialize in rehabilitation and recovery, focusing on helping those affected by drug abuse, trauma, and oppression. I grew up in a household heavily influenced by drug abuse, and I have seen firsthand how addiction can tear apart families and destroy lives. Those experiences have shaped my heart and fueled my calling to help others break free from the same cycles and find healing.

I chose Phoenix, Arizona because I believe God has placed a calling on my life to attend a Christian university where I can grow in my faith while preparing for my career in psychology. Phoenix has a very high refugee and homeless population, as well as widespread drug abuse — communities where the need for compassion, support, and recovery resources is great. I feel called to be there, not just to study, but to serve and make an impact in the lives of people who are hurting.

This summer, I have been working up to 30 hours a week to cover the many other fees I have already had to pay in preparation for school. Unfortunately, even though I earned scholarships and financial aid, my tuition and housing costs are not fully covered. I have an $8,000 remaining balance, and in order to enroll and begin classes, I must make my first payment of $2,100 by August 15th.

Moving 15 hours away from my family to pursue this calling is both exciting and challenging. I’ve done everything I can to prepare for this step, but now I’m asking for help to make it possible.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, brings me closer to my goal. If you can’t give financially, your prayers and shares of this campaign mean the world to me.

Thank you for believing in me and helping me take the first step toward making a real difference in the lives of others.
