Help us to give the young people in Kings College Hospital Paediatric Emergency Department an EGG-cellent easter!
This last year has been extremely difficult for everyone. The ups and downs/uncertainty of the pandemic has been tough on us all and has affected not only our physical but our mental health. Although the latest government guidelines allowed for young people to go back into schools and slowly progress back into some sort of normality, for some the normal they remember will never return.
At Break 3, we feel very passionate about supporting and empowering young people. Due to COVID 19, we were unable to do our annual Christmas fundraiser supporting the homeless and so would like to spread some joy this easter.
We are excited to announce that we have joined up with Kings College Hospital. All money raised will support us in providing Easter Parcles to the children who are going through a distressing time.
There are mixed emotions when young people and babies attend Kings College Hospital. Kings is one of the best hospitals in the world and so the children will receive the treatment they require with the most highly trained and skilful members of the NHS. However, it is the most distressing time for a young child to experience in an Emergency Department.
Our Easter collection is in aid of putting a smile on the faces of young people who the Easter bunny will not be visiting and who will not be spending easter at home happy with their families as they will be receiving treatment and care for their health.
All Donations to this cause will be greatly received.
