Do you like Brazilian music and dancing? Do you like Brazilian food, art, and crafts? Do you like having a good time and laughing out loud? Would you like to support Brazilian art and culture and fund fun activities for your children?
If the answer is YES...
Please consider helping the Brazilian Women’s Group and the “7 de Setembro” Committee raise funds for the 24th Brazilian Independence Day Festival.
Why help? The Brazilian Independence Day Festival is organized by a nonprofit organization and a volunteer committee. The Festival’s financial future depends on sponsors and community members like you. By donating any amount, you will help us fund children's activities, musical performances, capoeira presentations, and cultural awareness, through art, crafts, and typical gastronomy. You can also help the Festival by sharing this fundraising in your social media.
For 24 years the Brazilian Independence Day Festival has been an annual highlight for the greater Boston community and is one of the largest Brazilian cultural events in New England. In addition to celebrating Brazilian culture, the festival serves to recognize the important contributions that the Brazilian immigrant community has made to American society.
When and where? Sunday, September 8, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Herter Park (1175 Soldiers Field Road) in Brighton, MA.
Come celebrate and make this a successful event. Events are free and open to the general public. We welcome all and would be grateful for any support.
