Hello,
Today we received some unfortunate news. Baby Braxton Parker will not be making it to full term. He has a serious Heart Defect that can not be helped. His Left Atrium is 4 times the normal size at 25 weeks. His Mitral Valve did not form correctly early on and sense it is not opening and closing correctly the blood is just building up. Which is starving the Aortic Valve for blood, so it to is much smaller then it should be. With his heart being enlarged and his body starving for blood, he has begun to build fluid around his Heart, abdomen, skull and in his tissue. Even if he was closer to 34 weeks he would need a Heart Transplant as soon as he was born. But given that he is only 25 weeks and it is this bad he will soon pass in the Womb withen the next week or so. The other choice is to have early induced natural labor. Shelby and Zach being the adoptive parents and the mother "Crystal" Shelby's sister have decided they would like to be able to meet baby Braxton and tell him how much he is loved. They would like to hold him and kiss him Hello and Goodbye. That being said Colorado Medicaid will not pay for early termination. The cost for this is 10,000. I'm asking you our friends and family to please help us raise this money. So that these wonderful children are able to meet their son. I know this is short notice as it was just as surprising for us. Their appointment is Wednesday to start the process and baby Braxton will be here only for a short moment on Saturday. Thank You for all your help and your prayers.
