Brave the Shave for Pendle side Hospice - In Memory of Joshua Healey

Event Details: On 16th September 2024, we lost a beloved soul, Joshua Healey, after his courageous battle with cancer. To honor his memory, I will be taking part in "Brave the Shave" to raise funds for Pendle side Hospice, an organisation that provided incredible support to Joshua and his family during his final days. The shave will take place on 28th February 2025 at 4:00 PM at Autumn Louise Hairdressing, Barkerhouse Rd, Nelson.

On the Day: We’ll be holding a fun, family-friendly event with a bake sale, tombola, and glitter tattoos inside the salon. There will be plenty of ways to get involved, enjoy the day, and show your support for this amazing cause.

For nearly two years, I have cherished my hair. It takes me around three hours each month to care for, and it has become a time of relaxation and reflection. This hair represents much more than a routine, it's a part of my self-care and something I deeply value. But as a tribute to Joshua, who showed incredible strength and resilience, I’m willing to part with it to raise money for Pendle side Hospice, in hopes of helping others who are facing similar battles.
