Dylan Joshua Butler is a 22 year old from Sydney's Northern Beaches who has been diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Testicular Cancer. Testicular cancer is ordinarily considered to be highly treatable however for Dylan this has not been the case. The cancer has now spread to his liver and lungs - the level of treatment he now needs is physically, emotionally and financially draining. Throughout Dylan has not taken a backwards step - this young man is fighting cancer head on.
But while we can’t help Dylan in his personal battle to beat this cruel disease we can can help his family to continue to meet the crippling financial costs that come with it.
Jackie is a single mum who has recently been retrenched. This next stage of treatment means that Jackie won’t be able to look for work, while she makes daily visits to The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital & The Chris O’Brien's Lifehouse to support her son as his treatment intensifies.
With your help Jackie can continue to ensure her son receives the treatment that’s essential to give him hope. So please, whatever you can manage - however small the gesture - give a young man and his mum the chance for a brighter future.
