Brave, Beautiful & Bald

At 25 years old you're busy focusing on your career, building a social life, planning as many vacations as possible and finding yourself. You don't think about the possibility of getting sick.
In this past year I was lucky to build an incredible bond and find another best friend.  This bestfriend was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in April, 2017.

From day one she has demonstrated so much strength, optimism and resilience as she takes on the challenge of fighting cancer and everything that comes along with that, such as:  
-thinking ahead to the possibility of not being able to have children in the future and having to spend
thousands of dollars to ensure that can happen
-paying for wigs, transportation to several appointments a week, healthy food, alternative medicitation/supplements and treatments not covered by work benefits
-doing things that help her relax and ease her symptoms of incessant itching, insomnia, hot flashes, night sweats and the anxiety that comes with dealing with all of that 
-having to take a break from a blossoming career 

The costs add up and stress ultimately follows. By shaving my head to raise money, I hope that we can help Julia maintain as much normalcy in her life as she KICKS CANCER'S ASS.
