Branson Daigle and Kyra Blair

Hi, I’m writing this on behalf of Kyra and Branson. This has been set up in their names to go directly to Branson and Kyra. Yesterday evening Branson was in a horrible motorcycle accident down Choctaw Road in Brusly, just minutes from their home. Several family members saw the emergency vehicles and had an awful feeling it could be him. We raced to the scene and our fears were confirmed. It was immediately apparent it was bad. He was rushed to OLOL. There we received the tragic news his back was broken in his thoracic spine. He has a severe spinal cord injury and needed surgery immediately. After a long surgery late last night the surgeon told us his T4,T5 vertebrae were completely shattered and his spinal cord was so pinched it was nearly severed. They removed the shattered pieces and inserted a rod. He is in the ICU now under the care of a trauma team to tend to his other injuries. Scans are being done as I type this to determine why he has excruciating pain in his arms, to check his neck and broken ribs. With spinal cord injuries it takes time to know what the outcome will be. Pray with us his ability to feel and move his legs return.

He is dealing with unimaginable pain.

Sadly even while in pain he is worried for his family because he isn’t able to work.

During times like this people ask what they could do to help. So I’m asking for your help to cover their living expenses. Let’s get their bills paid so the stress of paying their mortgage note, utilities, insurance, car payment, groceries, etc. isn’t weighing on them. Please help this sweet family of four.
