Brandy’s Cancer Fight

Imagine the worst day of your life. For Brandy and her family it was the day she was diagnosed with cancer, bombarded with information from doctors and hospital staff. Not only does she have to try and understand her diagnosis, often complicated by medical jargon, subtypes and stages, given so much information about treatment options, symptom management, future appointment scheduling and more; it is an overwhelming and difficult situation for which a majority of people are not prepared to handle.

Not only that, I imagine she is scared. Scared of the disease itself, of the impending symptoms and of the aftermath of the treatment. With endless tests, scans and surgeries, my hope in creating this is to help with the endless medical bills that comes along with this horrible disease.

It’s never a good time to be diagnosed with cancer but to take on this fight during the holidays while not being able to work just adds more stress to the situation.
