We are turning our fans, friends, and family to support us in a big career move...

Flatland Funk Donors.  The name was conceived at our first hometown performance for a food drive benefit in 2012.  Since then, we have steadily grown in popularity and style; transforming from a 4 piece band into a 7 piece ensemble.  
Our band has played at that food drive event every year since to commemorate our birthday and to give back to the community that we call home.  Now, we are turning to the community to raise money so that we can reach the next realm of funkdom.  

We are also engaging fan participation in choosing our new name.  Why a new name?  It turns out that there is an established EDM artist named Flatland Funk.   As we push for more national exposure, we don't want there to be any confusion.  So we are hoping that you will help us brand our band!

Each person who pledges at least $50 will be able to vote on our new name.  Here are the choices:

1) The Lonely Notes
2) Eudaemoniks
3) The Funk Donors

After you make your pledge, simply type your name choice in the comment field.  We will tally them up after the campaign ends and make it official.  We may be the first band ever to let fans vote on their name.  We would love for you to help us make history!

No matter what the name ends up being, we will continue to donate fresh funk everywhere we go.  With help from you, the funkiest donor, we will finish our debut album, produce some superfly online content, broaden our fanbase, and hit the road!

We have set a goal of $20,000 with a stretch goal of $30,000. No matter what we raise, 10% goes to St. Jude's Cancer Research Hostpital!
