"Team Brown" needs your help!!

April 23, 2011...unfathomable news, BRAIN TUMOR. For loved ones of his, hearts shattered, tears streamed, & voices cried out to the Lord. A battle had ensued for Brandon, but as surgery plans were made, he exuded an indescribable peace as he told the doctor, "Let's do this! I'm a winner either way...if I beat this or if the Lord takes me home. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and HE is in control."
For almost 6 years, he has lived that "It's All Good" attitude. An outsider would never know that Brandon Brown, his wife Lorraine, & their 3 beautiful children lived in this brain cancer world. Surgery, radiation, & MRIs every 3 months hasn't stopped them from living life abundantly. As a PE teacher, Coach Brown teaches young Pike Pirates how to be physically fit. He coached high school football receivers, punters, & place kickers. He was then hired as the middle school head coach and offensive coordinator. He was also head golf coach. And most recently is Pike Middle School's head softball coach.
In his spare time, you will find him at a travel softball tournament for Camryn and Bailee or coaching Cooper's travel baseball team. You might see him crushing a drive on the golf course or running like a deer. At 5:00am, you'll find this fellow Crossfitter at the Box where he rocks rope climbs, dead lifts, power cleans, pull-ups, wall balls, & 48in box jumps.
The Brown family worships and serves their Lord at Oak Hill Baptist. They know He is the sole reason why they have been able to live this full life. Within the last year, around December 14, 2016 news of an inoperable brain tumor reoccurrence, ineffective treatments, biopsy, & current hospitalization means that the battle wages on. But Brandon is a FIGHTER, & they choose to find joy in this trial & trust the Lord to see them through!

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." James 1:2-3

Those out there who have had a loved one in need of medical treatments please give whatever you feel led to give to help this wonderful family with medical expenses to relieve at least their financial stress so they can focus on Brandon right now.
