Brandon's stem cell treatment
Donation protected
Hello all,
Our son, Brandon, lost all speech at nearly 3 years old. EEGs would confirm a Landau Kleffner Syndrome diagnosis, which shows a spike pattern during sleep known to affect speech. Unfortunately, his continued deterioration in behavior, cognition, and social abilities then added an Autism diagnosis.
His journey has been difficult to say the least. While losing speech was hard on all of us, he also lost his ability to understand much of what we said. He stopped responding to his name, playing appropriately, sleeping at night and had severe sound sensitivity. Brandon was lost. We got bits of him back very slowly with intensive therapies, pulsed IV steroids, a number of AED trials, and lots of faith.
Finally, his EEG was normalized with high dose Diazepam via IV. He is still very severely affected by his regression and our goal is to help him as much as we can. We have researched and wholeheartedly believe that stem cells can help our little boy.
Duke University's Phase 1 study and the Stem Cell Institute in Panama have remarkable results in children with brain injury, Autism, and Cerebal Palsy.
No donation is too small. Help us get him stem cells.
Love,
Flory
