Brandan and Amanda need help

My niece knew when to expect her fiancé home from work. On November 12, he did not come home. She went to look for him, thinking he may have ran out of gas or perhaps because he is a diabetic had a medical emergency. These things one could prepare for. What actually happened nobody could ever be prepared for. Brandan worked split shifts for a dairy farm in Wisconsin. He takes care of Amanda & her  two little girls, who they call Brandan, their step dad. Working with cows is not an easy task, and many people could not do the work that Brandon did just for one day. As Amanda approached a road that both traveled daily, she saw flashing lights. She stopped to ask the officer if a “red” pickup was involved in an accident. That is when her life changed. Brandan was involved in a single car accident. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his truck through a window that rollled four times. He was transported to a trauma center via the flight of life. He has been in ICU since November 12. He has fractures to his ribs, both arms and probably the worst, his cervical spine. Surgery continues to be postponed due to infections. This trauma center is 60 miles away from where they both live.  Amanda has been there around the clock waiting for the glimmer of hope, but realizing that while all of this is happening, rent is due as well as bills. Most of us cannot imagine this tragedy, but on top of the medical crisis, other things will happen. The two little girls love the school they attend, and having this tragedy , has turned their lives upside down. If we could support this family for a few months, so they don’t have to worry about rent, bills or gas while Brandan endures his surgeries, as well as recovery, that would be a beautiful gesture. The accident occurred in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and there is a video of the medical helicopter arriving. Please use this information to verify my story. His journey will not be easy but this can help a family unit stay intact. Before any person makes an assumption about not wearing a seatbelt, they do save lives. In this situation, it would have killed him. We all know it’s a law, but remember, Brandan is a diabetic and we have since learned that his glucose was dropping, as he left work. So everything that he did was not the normal as you and I would have done without suffering from glucose levels dropping. #chooseKind
