Brandi Maige wears many different hats as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher and friend to so many. She will now take on the role of fighter, leader, and survivor as she leads us through her inspirational journey to "fight like a girl."
On her 36th birthday (October 21, 2014), Brandi was diagnosed with Stage 2, Triple Negative Breast Cancer . This subtype tends to be a more aggressive form of breast cancer occuring in only 10-20% of women diagnosed.
On November 18, 2014 she will begin 20 weeks of intense chemotherapy and we are positive that hope, faith, and love will carry her through the difficult road that lies ahead.
Your generous contribution, no matter how big or small, will help the Maige family pay for treatments and medications not covered by insurance, household expenses, and any other needs that may arise during the treatment and recovery process.
Our goal is not only to alleviate financial burdens, but also to provide inspiration and raise awareness of Triple Negative Breast Cancer. We'd also like to stress the importance of self breast exams , as it could save your life!
