Branch 29 Legion has been serving the Veterans the Youth and the Community of Paris Ontario since 1926, 93 years of service. The Branch 29 building was bequeathed to the Branch by Franklin Smoke in 1937 on his passing.
It is increasingly evident that a number of upgrades and renovations are required to keep the Legion here in Paris Sustainable
While the Branch donates to many organizations and youth groups every year in and around Paris, the restrictions on our lottery license and Poppy Fund do not allow us to us these funds for capital improvements within the building
Accessibility is first and foremost on our agenda.
The first project in the series is the installation of a ground floor wheelchair accessible entrance onto the parking lot. Automatic door openers and a sheltered entrance will provide ease of access to our members and guests. Wheelchair / walker accessibility will be enhanced
At the end of the Building Renovation Campaign we will recognize "ALL" contributors on a plaque to be displayed in the Branch.
Donations may be made on a Corporate, Personal or on a Memoriam basis There are several levels of recognition including naming opportunities. Please contact me for more information.
