Please help Loreanyi Feliz raise money for her mom’s brain tumor surgery on Tuesday, November 18, 2020.

For those that know Loreanyi she is hardworking and positive person despite adversity. Graduating high school as a first generation American and getting admitted to ODU in Norfolk,VA. Most of us know Loreanyi from our college years. She was putting herself through college with no financial support and unfortunately had to take a break. A college degree did not stop her from wanting more and now she works with Fairfax County Public Schools as an Office Assistant on an annual contract. Like many of us, she is still statistically low income living in a high rent area. She has been able to save but meanwhile her mothers health has been declining. Loreanyi was privilege to come to the United States because of her father but her mother remains in the Dominican Republic. It’s been 17 years since Loreanyi has lived with her mother and her mother’s health has deteriorating since 2017.

In 2017 her mom had her first brain tumor surgery and now is needing a second surgery. Loreanyi has always aspired to be reunited with her mom but now it’s under a critical circumstance. Her mother’s brain tumor has double in size within the past 6 months. It has affected her day to day tasks and requires on going care. This gGoFund Me is to help pay a small portion of her mother's surgery and the remaining money will be used for her recovery. Loreanyi is currently reunited with her mother but is putting her life, savings, job, education on hold to help keep her mother alive for years to come.
