Brain surgery for Ezra
Donation protected
Four years ago Ezra began having seizures. After antiseizure medications failed, multiple tests revealed Ezra has a congenital brain lesion. Ezra's parents, Scott and Sarah, were told that his seizures will become more frequent and become more severe. Forty-five thousand people die annually from seizures. A team of specialists at Houston's Herman hospital have unanimously recommended surgery to remove the damaged portion of the brain. The hope is that the brain will form new fully-functional connections and that Ezra will be seizure free. The surgery has been scheduled for November 19th. I want to help with the medical, travel, and recovery costs. Will you join me?
