Brain Surgery For Landon

Landon is currently in the hospital awaiting treatment to remove a mass that is on his brain.
Early Wednesday morning Landon had experienced something we had never seen from him before. He was having seizures and going into convulsions. From our knowledge he has never had any type of seizure before. At this point it was getting very scary and we realized he was not going to wake up. We made the decision to call 911. The paramedics took him to the veterans hospital in Rancho Cordova because it was the closest hospital to them at that point.
Once he got to the VA they fully sedated him to try and avoid anymore seizures. The VA did not have the proper care he needed there, and realistically the care they did "provide" was far less than satisfactory for a person in his condition. They knew there was a mass on his brain because they preformed a CT and an MRI. The closest neurologist team that would take him at that point was in San Francisco, where he currently is waiting for his brain surgery. (Still under sedation).
The cost of these medical expenses are far beyond our means. We are reaching out to our friends and family to help him not only cover some of these expenses, but to continue to get the help that he needs to get through this.
Landon is only 32 and as the doctors explained it "just very unlucky". He is extremely healthy in all other aspects. There is no reason as to why this happened or where this mass came from. We simply know that it is invasive and if not taken care of properly, could cause long term damage.

I set the goal of 5,000 initially not realizing the amount of support we would receive. Again, I am beyond grateful. To see everyone come together in such a way for a person we all love has been incredible.
I hope we can keep this rolling and bypass the initial goal considering the actual cost of neurosurgery, as well as the recovery period after. He is currently not insured so the neurosurgery itself could range upwards to 90k.
For those of you who do not know me I am Landon's sister. I live in Rancho Cordova as well and will be giving the funds raised directly to Landon. We intend to use the funds raised for all of the medical expenses. The brain surgery , ambulance transportation, medical treatments at both hospitals, the hospital stay in SF, all medication he has received and will receive as well as the follow up care he will continue to need once we get him back home.
