Original Story Written By my love Chris Wallace-
Lindsay and I met at our work place approximately 5 years ago, pretty much soul mates at first sight (although we both need a few years to figure it out!) After a courtship filled with ups and downs we gave ourselves to each other and have been happy ever since. We decided on a small wedding with family in her grandparents back yard in late October. Always a hard worker and driven Lindsay is one to follow her dreams, so her dream career of being a nurse was what she had set her sights on studying in the evenings and weekends was the norm for Lindsay the last few months of this year, around March she was studying for a anatomy final she spent all weekend buried in books, while studying she needed a brain break (a term we came up with) usually consisting of a walk in fresh air with our rambunctious dog Roman, after our walk we returned home, Lindsay to her books and me to the kitchen. I was making soup and some other food to fuel my student. While taking a break of my own in the bedroom, I heard gurgling noises after a couple times I investigated, And found Lindsay in the middle of a grand mal seizure. Obviously I was terrified and quickly called 911, Lindsay was takin to the hospital and received a MRI, that came back with a black spot in her brain. We where told that the doctors on shift had all weighed in on her results and they all figured it was benign and that surgery would be a viable option, Lindsay agreed and a date was set... The month leading to the surgery was a stressful time filled with worry, the surgery was successful and resulted in all tumor tissue being removed. We have been very pleased with the outcome and just waited for the biopsy to come back with a clear prognosis of what we are dealing with. The other day we received our results.. stage 3 brain cancer. Clearly not what we where either expecting or Hoping for. In a few weeks Lindsay will commence radiation therapy hopefully eradicating this unwelcome cancer from our lives. The help we are asking for is to help with lindsays student loan from her microbiology degree, And her lost wages while undergoing radiation. Last night we spent over 150 dollars on vitamins alone and we are enlisting cannabis oil into our fight along with a raw diet . These expenses are sure to pile up quick...
Lindsay is unaware of the gofundme account at this time.
