Braedon Bronson, (16 years old... almost 17) is a straight A student at Marysville high school in Marysville, Ca. He enjoys competing in track and field, spending time with numerous friends and family, and loves reading. He's an active member of the JROTC program, and patriotically inspires to join the United States military after completing high school.
Braedon was involved in a vehicular accident on Thursday March 15th. Driving home from track practice, his pickup lost control in the slush, spun, and collided broadside with a tree. Pinned in the vehicle on the driver side, the emergency response team had to cut Braedon from the vehicle, to save his life.
The accident occurred around the intersection of La Porte and New York House Rd, between Brownsville and Challenge, California. Braedon was stabilized and rushed to Rideout Hospital in Marysville, and soon after transferred by helicopter to the UC Davis medical center in Sacramento.
Braedon's injuries include a severely fractured femur on his left leg, fractured sinus cavity in his left cheek, fractured left orbital, multiple lacerations on his face. He is currently in a medically induced coma due to an injury to his cerebral cortex.
His (multiple) parents are spending as much time as possible staying in hotels, to help support Braedon with the hopes of any changes in his situation for the better.
All funds raised will go towards helping all of Braedon's family with the cost of hotels rooms so they can stay close by to support Braedon, travel expenses, and of course the indeterminable medical expenses.
Braedon has a huge tribe helping him to get over this hurtle. His mother and stepfather: Rebecca & Rocky Richardson, his father and stepmother: Shane & Krystle Bronson, and all 7 of his siblings: Dane, Clayton, Damian (his twin), Rocky III, Brenna, Christian, and Mykenna.
