On Friday, June 2nd 2017 Brady McLaughlin suffered a serious medical event in Santa Barbara California, where he is living and attending college.
Brady is currently fighting for his life at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
As a result of this tragic event, Brady is currently on a ventilator as his brain, organs and body heal to achieve the strength to regain consciousness and to breathe on his own.
Brady is a fighter and is improving slowly every day. He has recently opened his eyes and is slowly showing signs of waking up with each passing hour.
Brady's mother Tracy, father Brian and sister Lindsey have been keeping a constant vigil by his side. Without extended family and friends close by, this devastating and heartbreaking event has been extremely difficult for the family.
Brady's family has received unconditional support from their dear friends, the Mangione family, formerly of Beverly, MA who now reside in Santa Barbara.
Friends of Brady and the McLaughlin family are creating this page as a means to show our love and support and to update Brady's progress as distance has been a barrier.
Funds raised will help the family with Brady's medical expenses both currently and with post-hospital care and rehabilitation.
