"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Matthew 9

Spring 2019

Taylor is currently almost 2/3 of the way through seminary. We have been blessed for the Lord's provision throughout this time and much of this is thanks to the body of Christ supporting us through prayers and finances. The Lord has also lined provision through other sources, one of which was the G.I. Bill. For those of you who do not know, Taylor served in the U.S. Army for six years. Being a veteran afforded him the blessing of the G.I. Bill which has paid for our tuition throughout seminary thus far. The G.I. Bill is not indefinite, and since we also used it for Taylor's undergrad in order to get to seminary, we have officially used it all. This leaves us down $1,500 a month, and without funded tuition. Which we were prepared for, except for the fact that when it seemed the G.I. Bill paid for this entire tuition, it actually only paid for a small part. We now need to raise $3,300 in order to avoid going into debt for this balance, and we are asking for your help in doing so. Throughout our time in seminary, we've raised $2,400 via GoFundMe and it's been a HUGE blessing to us. We are now trying to go from $2,400 to $5,700 in order to pay our tuition bill that is due. Would you pray over helping us in this way? While we need faithful men to rise and full our pulpits as faithful pastors, the education needed to do so is an expensive endeavor. We appreciate your support as Taylor follows the call God has placed on him to the pastorate.

Summer 2018
We see and support the need for missionaries laboring abroad, and often we are blessed, encouraged and even challenged by them as we support and pray for them.

There is a similar need for our local mission field. We need faithful pastors to exposit scripture and preach it faithfully to our local communities right here in the US.

Taylor is currently a full-time seminary student preparing to go into the mission field of the USA. He is a father to eight, a husband, and devoted to spreading the good news, that Jesus saves, through faithful preaching and shepherding of a future church and it’s local community.

The need is great and the laborers are few.

Since 2007 Taylor has felt called to be a pastor. To preach the Good News and to equip the saints and to encourage them.  Last year (2017) we moved to St. Louis, MO to attend Covenant Seminary and follow the call the Lord has placed on Taylor internally many years before.

It's been a long road to get here, but the Lord has been faithful and we know He will continue to be! Taylor was once given advice, "If you can do anything else, (aside from becoming a pastor) do it. If you after that you cannot shake the call, follow it."

And that’s where we are today. Following the unshakable call.

He is currently studying full time in the M.Div program to gain the education and training needed to equip him for the ministry. He takes on average 10-15 credits per semester. His first year here he has taken Greek 1, 2 and 3, his first Preaching classes and lab, Counseling in the Church and many more. All are preparing him to follow this call to be a laborer of the gospel.

Join us in praying for this journey the Lord has us on; that we would all be used by God during our time at Covenant, that we would grow in Him, and be equipped to be ready for any mission He gives us in the church in the future.

Also, join us in praying for the financial need this brings. That the Lord would provide all the finances needed for this call. He has and will be faithful!

Like a man going into the mission field - seminary is a similar situation. We need men to study scripture and be fully equipped for the call of doing mission work HERE in the US. It’s a full-time job to prepare for and though the work is full time in the hours, the pay is not. The investment is worthwhile for the Kingdom work - but it takes the Lord’s faithful provision to meet our physical needs as we follow His call here.

While in seminary we're told it’s rare for someone to do a three-year track and work more than twelve hours a week. This is in order to devote time to truly dig into the studies, the local community, and gain quality internship hours the paying work hours are kept at this lower level because it is such l a heavy load. If a student also needs to as continue the first calling to a family, as husband and father, they advise that you don’t work more than this per week.

This is past year Taylor has worked twenty hours each week in order to support his family while pursuing the education needed to follow the internal call he feels to ministry. He’s also on the three-year track aiming to graduate with an M.Div in 2020.

Would you consider praying over helping to support us, as we follow this call?  If we can raise $5,500 Taylor could drop down to working just ten hours a week and immerse himself more fully into his studies and internship hours, for the entire  2018-2019  school year! This would be a way to support the advancing of the Gospel here in the US. We would be grateful beyond words.

Every little bit helps! For every $10 donated he gets to spend one more hour on studies and the family! Should you feel lead to be a tool for this provision the Lord will bring, please know we greatly appreciate your support in this mission the Lord has placed on Taylor and the rest of the family in supporting him. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Love,
The Bradley Family
