Bradley Jay Transplant Fund

Donation protected
Bradley is an Air Force Veteran. He was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis late last year, and since then, he’s become unable to get through any part of his day without oxygen machines.

Brad is going through the V.A. for his treatment. One of the only ways of prolonging his life is for him to have a lung transplant. The V.A. only allows lung transplants from two medical facilities in the U.S., one in Seattle, and one in Madison, WI.

Once he gets approval to go he would not be able to travel alone, and his daughter, Cady Otwell, has volunteered to travel for an undetermined amount of time to be with him throughout the transplant experience. This will take multiple years to go through - from the moment he travels out, through to the procedure and finishing with rehabilitation.

I have posted a picture which illustrates his decline.

There is a way of him being treated here in Dallas, and we have reached out to our government officials to make this happen. If this happens it will ensure that Bradley is surrounded by all of his family and friends while he goes through this traumatic ordeal. We are reaching out to politicians and media outlets to share his story and pressure the VA to release his transplant care to a local DFW facility.

With that being said we want to ensure that we have the resources in case Bradley and his family have to foot a portion of the 500,000.00 surgery.

Please help us raise as much of this as possible. We have been contacted by multiple politicians and are doing our best to get this ball rolling. It would be terrible if we were unable to afford treatment after everyone has worked so hard to get us this far!

Anything will help, and as always, remember to share.
