Braden on the Go

Braden Van Eperen has been fighting Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy most of his life.  Now, as an eighth grader at College View Academy, his struggle has presented new challenges.  The weakness caused by his disease makes it more and more difficult for Braden to participate in activities that most of us take for granted.

This courageous young man is in a medical trial for a new drug and takes numerous trips to Iowa for the infusions for the study; in addition, he attends school like most other middle schoolers, but it's getting harder and harder for Braden to get around.  His family will be getting a power wheelchair, but they are in need of home adaptations to deal with the wheelchair, as well as a lift for the family van.  

It's time for those of us with strength to help this young man and his precious family in their time of need.  Who will help?  We'd love to provide funding for this gift as soon as possible so that Braden can continue to enjoy the activities that bring him joy:  school, sports, and family events.
