Brad Emerson's Road to Recovery

On the morning of February 22nd, Brad was involved in a serious fire at his home. He woke to suffocating smoke, flames and extremely hot temperatures. He was able to break his way through a window and make his way out, where he then went door to door until a neighbor heard him calling for help and woke.
He was air lifted to the cities where he is stable and recovering in the burn unit.
He suffers first, second and third degree burns on approximately 14-18% of his body. He has a severe hand injury from breaking out of the window, and he has deep cuts on his legs from the broken glass. At this time, they are unsure if he will need skin grafts.
It is a miracle that he is alive. He said it was about 90 seconds from the time he woke to the time he was out, he was running out of breath and was prepared to die. He had one last swing in him to get out and that was the swing that saved his life.
His medical bills are heavily accumulating and his home will need to be completely restructured. He has also lost all of his personal belongings. All the money raised will go towards medical expenses, rebuilding his home and to replace his lost belongings. As well as to pay his bills while he is unable to work.
