Brad Stone Memorial

Yesterday, we suddenly lost a beloved son, father, brother and friend.

For those of you who don't know, my stepbrother Brad had a heart transplant on Thursday, June 18, 2020. A heart he had waited a very long time for. A few of us were lucky enough to get that last message from him that said: "it's go time". He'd finally received a heart that was a match. He was beyond excited. We all were!

According to his doctor the surgery could not have gone better and Brad was expected to make a full recovery. By Saturday, he was doing great and was recovering ahead of schedule. He was looking forward to his new lease on life. We were all so happy for him.

Sadly, late Sunday night into early Monday morning, Brad suddenly passed away. We are all stunned. No one expected this outcome. He was doing so well and everyone, including his surgeon, fully believed he'd be home in just a couple of weeks.

Today I am asking for your help, as his mom (my stepmom) will now incur a number of expenses that were not planned for that she simply cannot afford.
He will be cremated and due to COVID-19 a memorial service will be planned a later date.

Thank you all for your kindness.
