Bracken Hill Nursery School has been in the Howth community for over 60 years and this year with COVID we have been hit hard. Not only did the funding stop in March due to the school closure but we also had the extra unexpected expenditure of having to replace the roof, upgrade the plumbing and heating systems which were not in our budget.
Normally at this time of the year we would be getting ready to open the doors with exciting anticipation for our Christmas Fair, where the star attraction is the children performing in their Christmas concert. Sadly, this year’s calendar has been cancelled and the Fair cannot be held. We are starting our fundraising campaign with a Christmas Draw where we are hoping to raise in excess of €1000. This draw will be held virtually on Friday 18th December 2020. So with your donation your name will be placed into the hat.
It is €5 per one name and you can have your name in the box any amount of times as long as the donation matches.
We truly appreciate your help. The teachers in this school have been outstanding. All during COVID they kept giving us ideas and producing videos to keep us parents entertained which helped us all to entertain our kids at home. This was an amazing support and one that all parents loved.
