Bracelets for Commitment is a social venture currently creating a sustainable world one commitment at a time. In a world plagued by divisiveness and indecision, Bracelets for Commitment stands to represent the drive and dedication of a community of passionate changemakers. Our beautifully handwoven bracelets are a symbol of your commitment to the United Nations' Sustainable Developments Goals (UNSDG) which we have divided into four broad categories: Social, Political, Environmental and Economic. A bracelet from Bracelet for Commitment is a doorway into a better now and the cornerstone of a sustainable future.
Bracelets for Commitment is a platform for connecting, educating, and mobilizing individuals to make commitments toward a chosen issue that links to the UNSDG. A dream is only a dream when there is no commitment to anchor your focus and hard work. Our bracelets serve as a reminder of your promise as well as the link binding our community together, proudly encouraging you to transform your ideal vision of a sustainable world into a tangible reality.
Our bracelets are hand-woven by Colombian artisans who reside in impoverished, at-risk communities. As the demand for the bracelets rise, more low-income women are hired, creating an environment where women are now able to hold jobs and manage their own finances. Our bracelets are 100% sustainable, being made only from natural fibers and certified waxed cotton imported from Italy, while also being completely waterproof, and no machines are used for their production.
The funds collected through donations will help establish a competition that will provide seed funding and mentor-ship to help upcoming social entrepreneurs pursuing their own commitments. This competition is a testament of Bracelets for Commitment's goal of empowering changemakers to save the world through advocacy and action, a fundamental core of our philosophy. Furthermore, a significant portion of all donations will be distributed as additional compensation to our excellent partners in Colombia; as well as, being utilized to purchase vital equipment and confirm our eventual status as a Non-Profit Organization. Bracelets for Commitment will ensure all financials are as transparent as possible, making sure our community knows exactly where your money is going is of our utmost priority. This campaign is part of the 2018 Clinton Global Initiative University Commitments Challenge.

Finance Breakdown:
Fundraising up to $5000: Will cover the acquiring of our nonprofit status, upgraded equipment for our social platforms, and an upgraded website.
Between 5K and 10K raised: We will give $2500 to support the women in Colombia and $2500 will go to the competition for upcoming social entrepreneurs.
Between 10K and 15K raised: In this range we will take $3000 to start heavier advertising and the other $2000 will be split between the competition fund and the Colombian women.
Lastly, if we reach our goal: We will take half of this money for increased platform growth and the rest is split between donations again.
All in all, when we reach our $20,000 goal, $13,000 is going to the B4C platform that will help turn individuals who thought they couldn't make a difference into changemakers, and $7000 will be split evenly between the amazing Colombian women and the competition that will expand our movement.
All funds will be withdrawn and managed by Bracelets For Commitment under Bryan's bank account.
