House fire! Help resident Dr. Shaleak Brown and his family!
After graduating from Howard University School of Medicine, Dr. Shaleak Brown moved to Flint to start his pediatric career as a resident at Hurley Children's Hospital/Michigan State University. When Dr. Brown wasn't working long hours at the hospital, he spent his time with his wife and their two young kids in their recently purchased home in Grand Blanc.
Still under investigation, but probably accidental, the Brown family woke to find their home on fire on the early morning hours of August 9th. After safely pulling his family out of the fire, the house and all their belongings have been destroyed. Please consider donating to help the Brown family during this difficult time.
