Friends and Family, last year you helped me bring clean bedding to Bethlehem Parents Primary School in Uganda. We were able to weld together 10 triple bunks, order new mattresses, sheets and mosquito netting. These bunks served 60 students at the orphanage ages 4 to 10.
Originally I was going to ask for support with providing classroom desks and materials. But in the past few weeks we have had more immediate needs and problems that require our attention. Due to transportation accidents, and illnesses - we are currently undergoing a dire food shortage at the school, our list has been revamped to the following:
- Donations towards school meals!! Currently our 120 students are fortunate if they are able to eat one meal a day.
- Donations towards reliable transportation. Our family SUV is no longer running, and our motorcycle (boda boda) was recently in an accident. We are unable to provide any sort of transportation for our students, critical for timely medical care!
With your help, we can make this happen!
