My Daughter Haylee is wonderful, amazing kid but she suffers from Tourettes Syndrome, OCD, ADHD, BiPolar Disorder, Clinical Depression, Bolemia and other various addictions which are getting worse. And is in an immediate crisis situation.
Haylee has had to be placed in involuntary psychiatric care (Baker Act) 14 times because she has either attempted to or had preparation to hurt herself. She has also been in long term residential treatment 3x. And she attends a special school. But since she has turned 18 in the last 3 months things have gotten worse. Her addictions have gotten worseand her ability to deal with the world has become difficult.
In the last 10 days she has taken a handfull of pills in an attempt to kill herself and has a had an increase in addiction (not drugs) that has caused her to baker acted a second time in the 10 days.
Haylee is in need of increased, extensive care. (I am trying to find the right facility, but right now she needs extensiv therapy and care) I am currently out of work and the cost of Cobra and her care has become too much. A residential facility generally costs between $20,000 to $35,000 per month. And with insurance will still cost $5k per month.
In order to get her stable and keep her alive I need your help. I am scared, last week she nearly killed herself.
Any support from you would be extremely helpful. Until can find work, this is how I will have to support her. I eed to et her treatment ASAP, she will be coming home from the last Baker Act soon.
