Save The Village And A Veteran!

Our friend Owie has been collecting his Christmas Village for 15-16 years. He LOVES it and the joy it brings to others during the holidays!
Owie recently posted on FB that he was looking for a buyer for his Village. Not knowing his situation, I jokingly suggested he keep it, store it and save it for his kids (which he does not yet have!)
Owie replied saying it was a last resort as the cost of his books for the next Semester are $500.00!
I again (jokingly) said let’s start a GFM, surprisingly others said they would help our friend, so here we go! Of course our foreigner friend (as he likes to call himself) asked what is a GFM?!? He has no idea I am following through with what started as a joke but quickly turned into a concern for an AMAZING HUMAN and GREAT FRIEND TO SO MANY!
For those of you who know Owie, you know firsthand of his gentle, kind, compassionate ways, always putting others before himself!
