Pujili 2018: Ecuador Mission Trip

Ecuador is a small South American country home to 16.39 million people. In 2016, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Ecuador, destroying fishing ports, tourist beaches and dozens of homes, schools and hospitals in the cities and towns. Reports following this disaster confirmed over 600 dead and 16000 injured. After the earthquake, many groups worldwide came to Ecuador to mobilize relief efforts, and help Ecuador rebuild what was lost. Although much help has been given, the people of Ecuador, especially those in rural regions,  desperately need our continued help.

This summer I will be travelling with a volunteer organization called Help, Learn, and Discover, taking part in medical rotations and helping to build homes for families in the community of Pujili.

The collective goal for the company is to build 15 earthquake-resistant homes over the span of 4 months. To learn more about last years Pujili project you can click HERE!

This project would not be possible without the help of all those who donate to this amazing cause. All the money that is raised by me will go DIRECTLY to help build these homes and develop the community of Pujili. NONE of this money will be used for airfare, accommodations, food, or any other trip expenses.

Please do note that when donations are made online through the GoFundMe website a small percentage is deducted from donations. If you would like to donate but want to avoid this fee, please feel free to contact me and we can arrange a cash donation or e-transfer.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and to learn a little bit about Ecuador and the goals for Help, Learn and Discover. All donations are sincerely appreciated!
