India COVID Relief Fund

India is running out of oxygen. It is going through one of the worst COVID crises since the beginning of the pandemic.

It is never okay to sit and watch. Please join us in our efforts. We are a group of private individuals whose goal is to raise funds to purchase and ship at least 100 oxygen concentrators to hospitals in India. 

How will funds be withdrawn?
Funds will be withdrawn and used in increments as supplies become available. The funds will be used to cover all the necessary costs of equipment, supplies, and shipping costs. 
All withdrawals and transactions will be recorded to ensure transparency.

What are the funds being used for?
To buy as many oxygen concentrators, personal protective equipment, and other supplies as possible to benefit COVID victims in India. Each medical grade concentrator costs between $500-$900. The funds will also be used to cover shipping costs to India.

We are working with local NGOs and coordinating with verifiable boots on the ground to help with the delivery of medical supplies for those in need.

About us: Manal Youssef-Bessler, MD, FIDSA the founder of the Infectious Disease Center of New Jersey, attended Cairo University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry- New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Bessler is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She is a fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of America and a member of the Infectious Disease Society of New Jersey. Dr. Bessler and her practice colleagues treated several thousands of COVID -19 patients since the beginning of the pandemic.
