Medical and Personal Costs

Years ago, Betty Garrett was diagnosed COPD. COPD is an extreme lung disease that will eventually shut her body down. Recently, she has reached her final stages of this horrific disease. Betty will not recover from this stage, and we are enjoying spending every minute with her while we can. The doctors and nurses haven't put a time limit on the her life, but they have set her up to come home with hospice. They have told us that once she comes home, since she can't recover from this disease, that it would be a matter of time. It could be days, weeks, months, we have no idea, but we value every second that we have left with her.

Betty hasn't been able to work in quite a few months because of how the disease was progressively getting worse. As you can assume, bills and expenses have started to pile up,  and all of the family is helping as much as they can. We have started this GoFundMe to ask for the help of family and friends of Betty to help cover some of these expenses, if they can, because anything helps. This GoFundMe will help the bills be paid, and will go towards future arrangements that need to be made when the time comes. 

We, as a whole family, thank everyone for all the kind words, prayers, thoughts, texts, calls, messages, etc. from everyone that has been there the last couple days. Betty is a wonderful woman, and she loves every one of her family and friends more than anyone could ever imagine. In advance, thank all of you for anything if you are able to help, and thank everyone for the support during this extremely hard time. We appreciate it immensely.
