<div>Hi, my name is Sy. Some of you know me, some of you don't. I am 27, and have been in the tumblr rp community for over 10 years now. As of this morning, 27th June 2025, I have fled my family home due to domestic abuse. For years, I have been made to believe I was the bad person, I was wrong, I was difficult, I was evil. I wasn't — I am not.

<div>For a very large chunk of my life, my parents have managed to say some of the most hurtful things and got away with it, they managed to threaten me physically and get away with it, they managed to neglect my needs and get away with it, they managed to turn a healthy child into someone with severe clinical depression, generalised anxiety, c-ptsd and more.

<div>Today, I broke the cycle. Aware that I have nowhere to go. I don't drive. I am not originally from the UK, so I cannot rely on other family or friends to rehome me. I was forced to make this decision as last night, threats were made against my life, my freedom, my peace. I cannot survive in such a place anymore. I have done it for far too long.

<div>If you could contribute with even just a pound, a euro, a dollar, I would appreciate it. It will help me with my immediate bills and possibly temporary accommodation until I manage to figure something out for the long term with the local authority. If you cannot contribute, that's perfectly fine, I will just ask you to share this link with your friends and family.

<div>Thank you for reading, have a spectacular day, and thank you for your help.

<div>UPDATE SEPT. 2025 : i have now been awarded my own home! the jump from accommodation to accomodation has finally ended, but the struggles unfortunately don't end here. now, i have a place i need to furnish to the basic living standard — and no money to afford it due to the accumulating debts mentioned previously. i hate to ask, to beg, but i have tried everything else and came up empty handed. if you have anything you could spare to continue helping me on this journey, i would be extremely grateful, and the moment i am back on my feet, i will pay back the kindness shown to me to others also in need of assistance. kindness must be paid back with kindness. today it's me, tomorrow it may ( hopefully not! ) be you.

<div>UPDATE OCT. 2025 : the last month has been hard. very hard, as a matter of fact. my mental health deteriorated massively. i still don't have the means to cook for myself ( no cooker and fully blown out electrics in the kitchen ), my water issues are far from fixed, my carpet was damaged by the same company that blew out my kitchen electrics, my workplace is pressuring me into doing a five-man job as a one person and when i complained i was told i had to suck it up or leave, and i even attempted to take my own life a few weeks ago. it definitely hasn't been easy. the cherry on top just got to me through the mail with a threat to take me to court if i didn't pay my £150 council tax until the 25th, which i am in no position to do. everything is crashing on me again, little by little. i don't know what more to do at this point. i am trying to look for another job, but doing so will cut off the very little help i currently receive and push me into further debt which i am already desperately trying to get rid of. if you could help spread the word, i would be thankful. if you could donate anything at all, i would be extremely grateful. hoping for better days, fully aware they may not be coming anytime soon.
