In late February 2018, Robin Hill was diagnosed with Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma (pancreatic cancer). The great news is that Robin is younger and healthier than a typical pancreatic cancer patient, and also that the tumor grew in such a way that allowed Robin's doctors to find the tumor early in its development. At this point, there’s no evidence that the cancer has spread outside of the pancreas. More scans will confirm this soon.
The current treatment plan will be to undergo 6 rounds of aggressive chemotherapy, then surgically remove the tumor in a process known as the Whipple Procedure, followed by more chemotherapy.
Our plans for Robin is to help her with her medical bills along with day to day life expenses. She will be out of work for at least the next 6 months. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!
Robin’s family has been with her every step of the way, and is confident that regardless of how tough this journey may be, she’ll fight her way through this and continue with a healthy life.
