A son, a brother, a brother in-law, a cousin, an uncle and a friend, that is what Dave is to us all.
My brother David was recently diagnosed with cancer and told that he will need to take a minimum of 8 months off from work. Dave lives on his own and made most of his money from tips at his job. The prescriptions that he will have to take during his chemo treatment are quite expensive and without insurance it will be hard for him to manage with his rent and living expenses as well. EI does not pay nearly enough, especially when you have worked in a restaurant for over 10 years.
Dave will need help to be able to pay for both his prescriptions and living expenses (food, rent etc...) and that is the reason why I wanted to start this gofundme for him, to get him as much help as possible.
All money donated will go straight to helping Dave get through this huge life transition and any amount of help means the world to us!
