Boys' Dormitory for Hope House

Donation protected
Hope House was established to provide a home for children of families living in tribal areas in the mountains in northern Chiang Mai.  These children were at risk of being sold for sex trafficking but have been given the opportunity to live at Hope House and attend public schools. Your purchases and/or financial support can make a dramatic difference in the lives of these kids!

Until now, Hope House has been renting their facilities. An opportunity has presented itself that will allow Hope House to purchase a permanent facility. A place where they can be more self-sufficient and  a place where the children will be able to see grass, raise chickens, and engage with nearby farmers. In October, the girls moved to the new facility. The boys, however, must remain 30 minutes away in the rented facility until a boys’ dormitory can be built. That’s where we have an opportunity to help.

There are multiple ways to support this effort. Beginning on November 1st, Minda will be offering selected pashminas at $15 each. Forty percent of every pashmina purchase will go toward the funding of the dormitory. We will also have our Hope Tree again during the holiday season.  A donation of $10 to buy an ornament will go toward the purchase of bricks for the boys' dormitory. Our goal is to fund 4,000 bricks. Additionally, we have established this gofundme page. All donations, large and small help.

Blessings,
