Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii van vandalized
Tax deductible
Aloha,
In the early morning of January 23rd, 2019 the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii, Nanakuli Clubhouse van was vandalized. Thieves removed 2 tires located on the driver front and rear side. They caused additional damage to the van by prying open the gas tank and siphoning the gas. They attempted to remove a third tire located on front passenger side. They were unable to remove the third tire and left the carriage sitting on the rim, damaging the undercarriage. The incident has resulted in over $6,000 of damage.
Boys and Girls Club offers a valuable service to our community, already working on tight budgets. Adding extra costs to fix the van only takes away resources meant for our keiki.
Please contribute if you can, and share amongst your circles. Having transportation is key to providing fundamental services and ensuring great futures for our keiki.
