Boxing For Veterans Fundraiser

We ask you to help raise money for us to continue doing our work for the reasons outlined below; thank you.

As some of you are aware, we set up a gym at Ozone Ice Rink in Bracknell that BFV could call home to help veterans' mental and physical health through boxing and physical fitness. For reasons that are made clear in our press release, BFV was pushed out of the space by the owners.

This has led to BFV being drained of funds because we did not have the chance to recuperate the money we invested in this supposed long-term project.

We built new showers and toilets within Ozone and supplied all gym equipment.

Ozone has been left with the new toilets and showers, while BFV has been left with nothing but the equipment we purchased that now has to be sold off for 50-75% of its original value because we have nowhere else to go.

It's fast approaching Remembrance Day, which is around the time BFV would have had its next event to raise money for veteran charities and highlight the importance of remembering the men and women who have given their lives for us to have the freedom of opening businesses such as ice-skating rinks. Because we were pushed out of Ozone, we have had to cancel our remembrance event, as our veterans had nowhere to train and too much time had been allocated to moving/storing/preparing equipment for sale.

We will be back next year, putting on events, and if we can find a new home/gym for BFV then we will. We have helped many veterans and turned many of their lives around and will continue to do so for as long as we have the support of our community.
